There are six modules we cover over six weeks, from August 30 through October 7th. Each module is designed to be followed in order, step by step.

Module 1: Create a Brand You Love

In the Defining Your Brand Foundation module, we begin by looking within. It’s designed to be light on tactics, so you have the space to really decide what it is you’re going to create with your brand.

What Will Be Covered:

  • What is a social brand and how are great social brands created?
  • Who are you, the founder, and why are you doing what you’re doing?
  • What are your core brand values?

At the end of this module, you will really understand what your brand is and why your brand is going to connect with your ideal customers.

Module 2: Fall in Love with Your Ideal Customer

Module 2 is all about knowing who you sell to and what they want.

You will determine:

  • Who is your ideal customer?
  • How can you be sure that they want what you’re selling?
  • Where are they hanging out online and offline?
  • What are their online habits now?

To build a magnetic brand, you have to get really cozy with your ideal customer. He or she can’t be a figment of your imagination. Rather, they must feel more like a best friend. You know them inside and out. You know what challenges them, what they desire, what frustrates them, and what they are looking for.

At the end of this module, you will know who your ideal customers are, what they want and need, and you’re going to get them to buy from you online.

Module 3: Stand Out Online

Module 3 is all about standing out on social.

You Will Learn:

  • How will your brand grow on social media?
  • Where will your audience be created?
  • How will they interact with the brand?
  • Why are they going to follow you and share your brand with others?
  • How to write copy that speaks with your audience
  • How to artfully incorporate the right imagery into your visuals
  • How to brand yourself and how to get great personal branding imagery
  • How to work with photographers, writers, and other creatives to “fill the gaps” where you do not prefer to work

At the end of module 3, you will have identified your Social Brand concept, your tone of voice, your look & feel, and then will begin scheduling the design of your logos, website, and marketing materials, if you haven’t already. Again, to help you with these tasks, we will provide options for hiring a creative team, or getting resourceful and doing it yourself, if you’re on a budget.

Module 4: Instagram to Sales

Module 4 is about taking the hand of your ideal customer, creating a bond with them, asking them to become a part of your audience, and leading them to the sale of your products and services. We call this the Customer Funnel.

In Module 4, you will learn:

  • How will you gain exposure for your account?
  • What is your lead magnet going to be?
  • What is the next step after downloading your lead magnet?
  • What will they buy and how?

At the end of Module 4, you will have drawn out your customer’s path to the sale of your products. When your customer walks this path, they will have fallen in love with your brand, signed up for your email list, enjoyed your free offer, and feel ready to buy from you.

Module 5: Creating Your Content and Building Your Editorial Calendar

Module 5 is about CONTENT. Once you’ve got your Social Brand ironed out and you know what you’re offering, you need a content strategy to fulfill your Customer Journey. Creating epic content is about more than just writing a few blog posts. You’ll need an editorial calendar and a plan to actually produce your content. We’ll also be teaching you the ins and outs of photography, writing, and video production, as well as how to hire a team and what to pay them, if that’s something you’re willing and able to do.

In Module 5, You Will Learn:

  • What do your customers need to be educated upon?
  • What do your customers need to understand in order to buy from you?
  • How can you save them time and money?
  • How can you inspire them daily?
  • What is your budget for content and how can you create killer content within your budget?

Afterwards, you’ll have a complete content strategy and an editorial calendar to work off of, as you begin to implement your digital marketing strategy.

Module 6: Grow Your Account and Increase Your Sales with Collaborations

Are you excited yet? We’re about to officially launch you online! Module 6 is all about how to grow your account and increase your sales using strategic collaborations.

In this module, we’ll be walking you through:

  • How do you engage effectively on social media?
  • How to create a killer hashtag strategy for your industry
  • How to grow a targeted audience of your ideal customers
  • How do you create a campaign that’s targeted towards your ideal customer?
  • How to you select great brand partnerships on social media
  • How to reach out with powerful win-win-win collaboration ideas

In this module, you’ll be getting cozy with your content strategy, and posting all of the amazing content you have been creating. Then, we’ll be moving right into some DIY PR techniques so you can start reaching out to the influencers you love. This is where is can feel a little scare and a LOT exciting.
